1. About Karibu
Karibu is an online platform that helps people in Kenya and the diaspora discover, research and transact on property. Karibu is operated by Provecta Group. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information when you register and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts for sellers, agents, developers, investors and partners have full access as soon as they are created. The Verified badge is granted only after automated checks (for estate agents, a match against the Estate Agents Registration Board register published in the Kenya Gazette) and may be withdrawn if information you gave proves to be inaccurate.
3. Listings and verification
We review listings and check the identity and registration of agents before marking them as verified. A "verified" badge means we have checked the lister — it is not a guarantee of a property's condition, title or that a sale will complete. Always carry out your own due diligence.
4. Staying safe
Karibu will never ask you to pay a fee to "release" a property, nor to wire money to an individual. Treat any such request as a scam and report it to us. Payments should only be made through channels we explicitly describe.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to post false, misleading or unlawful content, not to impersonate others, and not to misuse the platform or attempt to disrupt it.
6. Your data
How we collect and use your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Changes and contact
